Gaming Devices

The Gaming Devices plugin supports a wide range of HID devices, including game pads, joysticks/flight sticks and racing wheels.

- Not supported on Windows NT 4.0
- Supported on Windows 95 and 98 with optional DirectX 7 or higher installed
- Fully supported on Windows ME, 2000, XP and newer

- Requires the DirectX SDK library from Microsoft.
[edit] Configuration
A list of detected devices will appear under the "Gaming Devices" menu on the left.
If new supported hardware is added after the Gaming Devices plugin has been initiallized, you can click on the "Scan" button to redetect devices.
Each device will have its own unique list of configurations. Different parts of the device will be configured differently.
For buttons, when the button is pressed the associated configuration item will highlight. (for additional help assigning functions to events, see configuration)
For axis, when positiion of the axis moves past the threshold the associated configuration will highlight. The axis position will also be displayed. (for additional help assigning functions to events, see configuration)
